Pond Aeration Choices

Aeration is not a panacea to all water quality problems but it instead should be viewed as one of the tools in the toolbox to effectively manage bodies of water. Oxygen is the single most important water quality parameter as it relates to overall water quality in ponds.
This presentation will cover what to expect with proper aeration and the pros and cons as well as sizing and purchasing criteria of all types of aeration including decorative fountains, lighting, surface aeration, mixers, water pumping, diffused aeration and circulation. Successes as well as failures will be addressed.
