Management of Chronic Root Diseases in Cool-Season Turfgrasses

To better understand what are the main root diseases that Dr. Vargas and Dr. Kerns have observed in their respective diagnostic labs. Participants will know that cool-season grasses can be affected with Pythium root rot, Pythium root dysfunction, nematodes, fairy ring, take-all patch and summer patch and will have critical facts to the best management strategies for these key diseases. This program will be an open discussion therefore attendees will be able to gather an abundance of information based on the questions solicited for Dr. Vargas and Dr. Kerns. It is highly likely there will be much entertainment as well!
